A Little More About Exile
It was about this time, one year ago, that I released an excerpt from the first book in The Caein Legacy, Exile. I spent much of my 2020 quarantine time working on the rest of the series, and it is now complete (four books). The process of querying for agents began a few months ago, but I have yet to hear from most of those I have contacted. I am told this process requires patience, and I am doing my best…Though those who know me well understand that I have a hard time waiting.
I wanted to share a little something with all of you regarding this series, and have decided to write a few brief character profiles. Naturally, I had to start with the main character: Andrew. It’s a rather ordinary name for a character with an usual background, but there was a purpose behind that: he must do his best to fit in, to seem “normal”, or he risks execution. The full character profile can be found here.
I am hoping to write a few more of these profiles in the coming months, in between the other blog posts/projects that I plan to post. If the readers want even more, I may consider adding some character profiles for the series I am currently writing, which is set in the same world as The Caein Legacy, but approximately 1000 years beforehand. I’d love to hear your thoughts, as a reader, on this first character profile, so please don’t hesitate to comment on my blog, facebook, or twitter.
If you haven’t already read the excerpt from Exile, you can do so here. Here’s hoping 2021 will bring some news regarding this series (and believe me, when I hear something I will let everyone know!)
