Please consider the following before submitting your book:

1. I prefer books in the following genres: fantasy, science fiction, horror, thrillers, mysteries. I will read books with some romance, but prefer if it is not the main plot. I will also consider books in genres not listed above, but I will not guarantee they’ll make it onto my TBR.
2. I do not review poetry (due to a lack of experience with it.)
3. I do not review erotica.
4. I do not review children’s books, picture books, or those meant for middle-grade audiences (again, lack of experience, and I don’t have kids of my own.)
5. I typically have a backlog of books to get through, and due to work and writing obligations, I average between 4 and 7 books per month. I typically cannot promise a swift turnaround on new review requests.
6. While I try to keep my reviews positive, I am honest in them. If you reach out to me, it is not guaranteed that you will receive a glowing review. If you aren’t willing to risk minor criticisms, then I am not the reviewer for you.

I post my book reviews here, as well as on Amazon and BookBub. I do not post reviews on Goodreads. Positive Sci-fi/fantasy/horror reviews will be cross-posted to FanFiAddict.com, as I’m a reviewer there.

If all of the above looks promising to you, please fill out the form below and include:

1. Book Review Request and your book’s title in the subject line
2. A brief synopsis/blurb of your book in the body, along with links where I can purchase your book.
3. If your book is an ARC, please do not include it as an attachment (it will be sent to my website’s spam folder if you do, and I don’t want to miss a legitimate message!) If your book is of interest to me, I will ask for the ARC separately.
4. I will respond to all book review requests, but please keep in mind that I work full time outside of writing and I may not be able to respond immediately. I will get back to you within a few days, however.

This is a blog feature I run specific to indie authors (either self-published or indie press), and is specific to the following genres (though any subgenre within them is fine): Science fiction, fantasy, and horror.

The post goes live on the 1st of each month (so, for example, the October new releases will be featured on October 1.)

To get the most exposure for your new release, please submit titles prior to the month they release, as the blog only emails my subscribers when it initially goes live. I can retroactively add books to existing posts, but they will not be sent to my blog’s email subscribers. (Please do not submit for books released prior to September 1, 2024. This is a relaunch of the feature, and I do not have any posts available for books published earlier.)
