Character Profile: Daaros Syl’Vaasis

Daaros is the owner of a successful solar tech company and the heir to the Syl’Vaasis Dynasty. He’s wealthy, charming, and labeled as one of the galaxy’s most eligible bachelors. As such, he has a rabid following in the celebrity newsfeeds—and frequent encounters with the paparazzi.

Daaros is Botanaari, a species humankind first encountered a couple centuries ago. His people are evolved from plants, and while they are photosynthetic, they also require a steady diet of protein—often in the form of insects or meat. Not all humans are fond of Botanaari cuisine.

The corporate headquarters for his company, VaasTek, is located on the bustling city-world of Megatropolis, where he spends a significant portion of his time. When he isn’t there, he travels home to Botanaar to oversee his company’s R&D labs—and report in to his very powerful parents. One is the Vynaas (his people’s version of a monarch), and the other is the Botanaari Minister of Intelligence.
