A Wraith and the Revolution Prequel Short Story
Synopsis:
Kye Verex is desperate to flee his home world. It’s toxic, polluted, and largely forgotten by the wider galaxy. At nineteen years old, he should have his whole life ahead of him.
The trouble is, his genetics are working against him, and the cost of his treatment continues to increase. He’s going nowhere…unless he devises a foolproof plan.
He’ll take the entrance exams for the Olympos Mons Military Academy and hope the military will pay for his cure. His older sister, a career soldier, assures him it will work, and he’ll be off world soon. After all, she’s coached him for years. The exams should be a breeze.
But first, he’ll have to conquer his test anxiety.
