Book Review: Strangers by Michaelbrent Collings

Reader Note: With the new year coming up, I’m going to implement a slightly different policy regarding my book reviews. I’ll post them as I finish reading, rather than create one large post at the end of the month. I believe this will be easier for readers to digest, and it’s also an opportunity for the authors to be showcased individually. For those who have been following me for a while, you’ll know that I often read several different genres within a given month.

Book Review: Strangers by Michaelbrent Collings

Strangers

Genres: Horror, psychological thriller

Content warning: Strangers contains some very graphic and violent content.

Strangers is a psychological horror story where revealing one’s darkest secrets is part of the killer’s game – and possibly the only way to survive. A family is isolated in their own home, cut off from the outside world, while their tormentor forces them to divulge their secrets. If they refuse, it doesn’t end well.

I was drawn into the story from page one and the book only got better from there. It was difficult to put down! There were so many twists and turns in the story, I never knew what to expect next – and I definitely did not see the final plot twist that came at the end. This book will keep you at the edge of your seat for its entirety. A great read!

Strangers is the first book in the I Am Legion series.
