Upcoming In-Person/Live Events: July – October 2026
I am going to have a very busy fall, and I’m super excited for it. This is, without question, the busiest year I’ve had since I started this authoring gig.
I love going to conventions and book fairs. Getting the opportunity to talk with readers (both new and returning) is one of my favorite things about being an author. And while longer cons usually leave me feeling a bit drained, they’re so worth the energy spent.
So without further preamble, here’s where you can find me in the coming months. I hope I’ll be able to see some of you somewhere!
TBRCon: July 26 – August 1, 2026
TBRCon is a free, week-long virtual event hosted by FanFiAddict in conjunction with Before We Go Blog, Fantasy Book Critic, and the SFF Addicts Podcast. Panels cover everything from publishing to trends to worldbuilding to marketing, and more.
And this year, I’ve been invited to talk about dragons! My panel is tentatively scheduled for July 30, but I’ll likely be in the background for many others as part of the FanFiAddict team.
In past years, I’ve helped with some of the tech support and will probably do so again if they need extra hands. TBRCon is a big event for FanFi and features dozens of authors from both traditional and indie publishing. All panels are livestreamed, but can viewed after the fact on YouTube.
Fort Collins Comic Con: August 14 – 16, 2026
Fort Collins Comic Con is a locally-organized pop culture convention with a focus on literacy through comic books and other pop culture media. This event is made possible through partnerships with the Fort Collins Symphony, the Fort Collins Autism Resource Fair, and the Teen Self-Care Fair from the Alliance for Suicide Prevention.
This year, it’s a 3-day event, and I’ll be there the whole weekend. I was last at Fort Collins Comic Con in 2023 (I missed the intervening years due to life not aligning with the event), and I had a lot of fun then. I’m looking forward to returning this year!
Cheyenne Fantasy Market: September 19, 2026
The Cheyenne Fantasy Market is a one day event in Cheyenne, Wyoming, featuring all things fantasy – including books. I’ll be there with mine, and I hope to see some of you there!
Front Range Fantasy Festival: September 26, 2026
This is the second year of the Front Range Fantasy Festival. It’s a one day event in Loveland, Colorado, co-hosted by Grimm Brothers Brewery. I’ll be attending again, since it’s set in my home town.
Wyoming Pop Culture Con: October 3-4, 2026
I’ll be back at the Wyoming Pop Culture Con in Casper, WY this year. This is an annual convention celebrating all things pop culture and features a number of local authors, artists, and artisans. It will be held at the Eastridge Mall again this year.
MileHi Con: October 23-25, 2026
This will be my second year at MileHi Con. It’s an annual convention held in the greater Denver area, and this year is it’s 58th! This year it’s being held at the Hyatt Regency and Conference Center in Aurora, CO. I’ll be there the whole weekend.
I’m still waiting to hear back from at least one major con, so this list might grow. I also post all of my upcoming events and livestreams on my website’s homepage, so if you’re ever wondering what I’m up to and where I’ll be, that’s the best place to look.
